Harley-Davidson Motorcycles of Edmonton (1980) Ltd. is owned and
operated by the Kent family. Ken and Alma Kent opened the doors in 1980 in the midst
of the poorest economy and the highest interest rates. But with hard work and dedication,
they pulled through and now, 30 years later, they have two children that are following
in their footsteps.
Bobby Kent, General Manager of the store, has been working at the shop since he was
16 years old. He is known for his high energy and excitement for the Harley-Davidson
industry. After receiving her business diploma from N.A.I.T., daughter, Koreen,
started full time in 2002 to complete the family circle. She is now teamed up with
her brother to help take this business to the next level.
Alma is now fully retired, and Ken is Semi-retired. They have put in their time,
and have well earned the pleasure of spending time in the beautiful country of Belize.
You will however see Ken around during our summer months, as he is an avid drag
racer with the C.M.D.R.A. and A.H.D.R.A.
Harley-Davidson of Edmonton has had only 2 moves in its long lifespan.
They began this journey on 82 street and Yellowhead Trail. In 1992, they moved to
a newer, bigger building just up the Trail to 124 street.
In November of 2006, they relocated to an impressive 32,000 square foot building
they built ground up to suit their growing needs. With a vast selection of parts,
accessories, merchandise and of course motorcycles, this spacious new floor plan
will help take this dealership up the echelon of excellence.
Customer satisfaction is what they strive for at
